Stephanie Ramirez Pimentel

Hello, I am Dr. Ramirez. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology and have worked in the field for approximately 7 years. I have worked with patients from all age groups and various ethnic backgrounds. I have treated patients diagnosed with various mental health disorders (i.e. mood disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, trauma and stress-related disorders, substance-related and addictive disorders, impulse-control and conduct disorders). I have worked in elementary schools, community-based programs, juvenile detention centers, county jail, private practice, prison, and I have completed various court-ordered evaluations. We all experience difficult moments in our lives. It could be experiencing mild distress about losing a game or sever depression as a result of a severe injury. Regardless of how mild or severe our struggles are, we all need help and support at one or several points in our lives. I like to help others take control of those negative moments and navigate through such experiences in the most healthy way possible. I also like to help others achieve self-actualization through the use of self-directed behavior and self-understanding.
